WYBOT Pool Cleaner Reviews: Which Model Fits Your Pool
Seven current WYBOT listings, from the above-ground A1 to the camera-guided C2 Vision and the solar S2, compared on runtime, filtration and the pool each one is built for.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no cost to you. How we make money.
WYBOT sells a lot of robotic pool cleaners with very similar names. C1, C2, C2 Vision, B1, S2 Solar Vision and A1 all look alike in a search result, and two different robots are currently listed as the "B1". If you are trying to work out which WYBOT fits your pool, the names are not much help.
This guide reads the current WYBOT listings and sorts them by pool type, runtime, filtration and what each robot is stated to clean. Where a figure is missing, we write "not stated" instead of filling the gap.

The WYBOT Range Explained
WYBOT names its robots with a letter and a number, and the listings do not explain the code, so read the pool-type line before you read the model name. The current line-up falls into five groups, below.
WYBOT A1: The Above-Ground Model
The A1 is the simplest entry. WYBOT rates it at 2280 GPH with up to 130 minutes of runtime for pools up to 1,100 sq ft, with a 180 micron filter and a textured foam layer. It parks itself near the wall when the battery runs low. The listing also carries a warning that it is not for pools with slopes over 15 degrees or significant bottom wrinkles, so it is meant for flat floors. If your pool is above ground, see our guide to the best robotic pool cleaners for above-ground pools.
WYBOT C1: The Cordless Inground Workhorse
The C1 is described as a 4-in-1 robot that cleans the floor, walls, waterline and steps. It has a triple-motor system said to handle slopes up to 45 degrees, gyroscope navigation, and a stated runtime of up to 160 minutes. Our inground pool guide compares it with the other brands.
WYBOT C2 and C2 Vision
The C2 is the cordless inground model with a 10 micron plus 180 micron dual filter. The C2 Vision adds an AI camera and swaps the 10 micron filter for a HEPA one. More on the difference below.
WYBOT B1: Two Different Robots Under One Name
Two listings use the name B1. One is a quad-roller version at 14.3 pounds; the other is a six-roller version at 19 pounds. Their runtimes, coverage figures and mode lists differ, so we review them separately.
WYBOT S2 Solar Vision
The S2 Solar Vision is the solar-charging model with an AI camera. We cover what the maker says about the solar claim in its own section further down. For cordless options from every brand, see the best cordless pool cleaners.
WYBOT Pool Cleaners Compared
The table puts all seven listings side by side on the figures WYBOT states. A blank means the listing is silent, which is not the same as the robot lacking the feature.

The WYBOT Pool Cleaners, Reviewed
Each review opens with a short verdict, then says who the robot suits and who should look elsewhere. Every figure is WYBOT's own, taken from the listing as read on November 6.
Top pick · Best AI camera
WYBOT C2 Vision
The WYBOT for people who want the robot to learn the pool. An AI camera finds high-debris spots, and the listing covers both inground and above-ground pools.
- Premium
- Pool type Inground and above ground
- Max area 2150 sq ft
- Filtration 180 micron + HEPA
- Navigation AI camera
- Buy it if
- You have a large or busy pool, with debris landing in the same places, and you want custom cleaning routes.
- Skip it if
- You want a stated runtime before you buy; this listing gives none.
WYBOT states that the C2 Vision's onboard AI learns your pool's debris and obstacle features within one month, then detects high-debris spots, extends the run and raises suction there. It claims up to 20 times the efficiency, which is the maker's figure and not one we can check from a listing.
The app offers 8 cleaning modes covering waterline, wall, floor, full-pool and AI vision, and an expert mode with six custom paths: S, cross and radial patterns for floors, N, H and V for walls. Filtration is a 180 micron basket with a HEPA filter. Brushless motors cover both inground and above-ground pools up to 2150 sq ft.
Runtime, weight and warranty are not stated in the listing. The dimensions given are 18.4 by 16.9 by 12.4 inches.
What stands out
- AI camera that learns debris spots, per WYBOT
- 8 modes and six custom expert paths
- 180 micron basket plus HEPA filter
- Listed for inground and above-ground pools
Trade-offs
- Runtime, weight and warranty not stated
- The 20x efficiency figure is the maker's claim
Best finer filtration
WYBOT C2
The camera-free C2 for inground pools. It pairs a 10 micron fine filter with a 180 micron main filter and climbs walls and steps.
- Premium
- Pool type Inground
- Max area 2152 sq ft
- Filtration 10 + 180 micron
- Navigation App, Bluetooth
- Buy it if
- You have an inground pool, want strong fine-dirt filtration and have no need for an AI camera.
- Skip it if
- You want a stated runtime or a precise warranty; the listing gives neither.
WYBOT lists the C2 as a cordless pool vacuum for inground pools, cleaning up to 2152 sq ft in one run. Three brushless motors drive the suction, and the 10 micron plus 180 micron dual filter is said to capture leaves, sand, dirt and fine debris.
The robot is stated to climb walls and steps and clean the waterline whatever the pool's shape or wall material. It is controlled by Bluetooth and the app, and parks itself when the battery runs low. The weight is given as 24 pounds.
Runtime is not stated, so we cannot say how many runs a charge covers. Compare it with the C1 below, which does give a figure.
What stands out
- 10 micron plus 180 micron dual filter
- Climbs walls and steps, per WYBOT
- Three brushless motors
- Auto parks on low battery
Trade-offs
- Runtime and warranty not stated
- 24 pounds, heavier than the B1 models
Best long runtime for inground pools
WYBOT C1
The WYBOT with a stated runtime that covers a large inground pool. Up to 160 minutes, four zones and a triple-motor system said to handle 45 degree slopes.
- Mid-range
- Pool type Inground
- Max area 1,618 sq ft
- Stated runtime Up to 160 min
- Navigation Gyroscope
- Buy it if
- You have an inground pool with slopes or steps, and you want a long run without a camera.
- Skip it if
- You want to see a filter rating before you buy; this listing does not state one.
The C1 is described as a 4-in-1 robot for inground pools that cleans the floor, walls, waterline and steps. WYBOT states up to 160 minutes of runtime on a four-hour charge, for pools up to 1,618 sq ft and depths up to 9.86 ft.
Navigation is a gyroscope system following N-path and S-path patterns. Control and scheduling are in the WYBOT app, with over-the-air firmware updates.
This listing states a two-year manufacturer warranty. It does not state a filter rating or a weight, so check those on the listing for the colour you buy.
What stands out
- Up to 160 minutes of stated runtime
- Floor, walls, waterline and steps
- Slopes up to 45 degrees, per WYBOT
- Two-year warranty stated
Trade-offs
- Filtration and weight not stated
Best lightweight for small pools
WYBOT B1 quad-roller
The light B1. At 14.3 pounds it is easy to carry out of the water, and quad-roller brushes plus dual side brushes target edges and corners.
- Mid-range
- Pool type Above ground, small inground
- Max area 1,150 sq ft
- Stated runtime Up to 120 min
- Navigation Path planning, 5 modes
- Buy it if
- You have a small pool, above ground or small inground, and lifting weight matters to you.
- Skip it if

WYBOT describes this B1 as a lightweight robot, 14.3 pounds, for above-ground and small inground pools. Enhanced bottom roller brushes give traction over drains, seams and slopes, and dual front side brushes handle edges and corners.
Runtime is up to 120 minutes for pools up to 1,150 sq ft, with a one-hour Quick Clean Mode. There are 5 selectable modes covering the floor, walls or several areas in one cycle. The app handles scheduling, and over-the-air updates are included.
Do not confuse it with the six-roller B1 below. Same name, different weight, runtime and mode list. Filtration and warranty are not stated here.
What stands out
- 14.3 pounds and easy to lift
- Quad-roller brushes plus side brushes for edges
- One-hour Quick Clean Mode
- Over-the-air updates
Trade-offs
- Filtration and warranty not stated
- Waterline cleaning is not listed
- Max area 1,150 sq ft
Best for above-ground edges
WYBOT B1 six-roller
The heavier B1, with six rollers, a triple-motor system and 125 minutes of runtime. It lists floor, wall, waterline and combo modes for above-ground pools.
- Mid-range
- Pool type Above ground
- Max area 1,220 sq ft
- Stated runtime Up to 125 min
- Navigation Floor, wall, waterline, combo
- Buy it if
- You have an above-ground pool and want edge-to-edge cleaning with waterline coverage.
- Skip it if
- Weight matters most to you; the quad-roller B1 is stated at 14.3 pounds against 19 here.
This B1 is the six-roller version: dual main rollers, side brushes and bottom brushes, combined with what WYBOT calls edge-to-edge cleaning. A triple-motor system provides the suction, and the bottom rollers add traction over drains, seams and uneven floors.
WYBOT states up to 125 minutes for pools up to 1,220 sq ft, with a one-hour Quick Clean Mode. Modes are Floor, Wall, Waterline and Combo, and the app handles schedules with over-the-air updates. It weighs 19 pounds.
Filtration and warranty are not stated.
What stands out
- Six-roller design for edges and corners
- Up to 125 minutes for 1,220 sq ft
- Waterline mode listed
- Quick Clean Mode
Trade-offs
- 19 pounds, heavier than the quad-roller B1
- Warranty not stated
- Filtration not stated
Best for solar charging
WYBOT S2 Solar Vision
The solar WYBOT. It can charge from sunlight, from a DC source on dull days, or directly for maintenance, and it adds an AI camera and a 3,229 sq ft coverage figure.
- Premium
- Max area 3,229 sq ft
- Filtration 180 micron + sponge
- Navigation AI camera
- Buy it if
- You like the idea of a robot that tops itself up from the sun and you want AI debris detection.
- Skip it if
- You need a clear list of what it cleans; the listing does not say whether it works the floor, walls or the surface.
WYBOT lists three charging modes: solar panels in bright sunlight, a DC power source through the solar charging port in low light, and direct DC charging for rainy or cloudy days. An AI self-learning function detects debris and avoids obstacles.
The listing gives 8 cleaning modes and 6 paths in the app, a 3D suction system, a 180 micron filter basket and an ultra-fine cotton sponge, with a weekly schedule. Coverage is up to 3,229 sq ft, which WYBOT calls ideal for residential and medium-sized pools, and the cover is two years.
What the listing does not state: runtime, weight, dimensions and which surfaces it cleans.
What stands out
- Solar plus DC charging options
- AI camera and debris detection
- 180 micron basket and fine sponge
- Two-year cover stated
Trade-offs
- Cleaning zones, runtime and weight not stated
- Solar behaviour depends on sunlight
Best for flat above-ground pools
WYBOT A1
The simple WYBOT for above-ground pools. 2280 GPH suction, 130 minutes of runtime and four cleaning modes for pools up to 1,100 sq ft.
- Mid-range
- Pool type Above ground, flat
- Max area 1,100 sq ft
- Stated runtime Up to 130 min
- Filtration 180 micron + foam
- Buy it if
- You have a flat above-ground pool and want a mid-range cordless robot with proper filtration.
- Skip it if
- Your pool floor has slopes over 15 degrees or heavy wrinkles; WYBOT says the A1 is not for those.
The A1 pairs a 180 micron filter with a textured foam layer, which WYBOT says improves filtration efficiency by up to 50 percent against standard robots. Self-parking brings it near the pool wall when the battery runs low, and it pauses at pool edges to clean them before resuming.
Runtime is up to 130 minutes, and a full recharge takes two to three hours. There are 4 cleaning modes.
The listing title names above-ground pools, and its warning points to flat floors, so that is the pool it suits.
What stands out
- 2280 GPH suction, per WYBOT
- Dual-layer 180 micron and foam filtration
- 130-minute runtime
- Self-parking
Trade-offs
- Not for slopes over 15 degrees or wrinkled floors
- Weight and warranty not stated
- Floor cleaning only is listed
WYBOT C2 vs C2 Vision
People searching for the WYBOT C2 are usually choosing between these two. Here is what the listings say, side by side.
- Filtration: the C2 pairs a 10 micron filter with a 180 micron one. The C2 Vision pairs a 180 micron basket with a HEPA filter.
- Navigation: the C2 is controlled by Bluetooth and the app. The C2 Vision adds an AI camera, 8 cleaning modes and six expert paths.
- Pool type: the C2 is listed for inground pools. The C2 Vision for inground and above-ground.
- Area: 2152 sq ft for the C2, 2150 sq ft for the C2 Vision.
- Weight and runtime: 24 pounds for the C2, not stated for the Vision. Neither listing gives a runtime.
If you do not need a camera, the C2's finer 10 micron filter is the stated difference that matters. If your pool collects debris in the same spots, the Vision's learning function is the reason to pay the premium. Both sit in the premium tier.
Solar Charging on the S2: What the Maker Claims
Solar charging is the headline of the S2 Solar Vision, so it is worth reading exactly what is claimed. WYBOT says the robot charges through solar panels in bright sunlight. In low light you connect a DC power source to the solar charging port, and on rainy or cloudy days you charge directly from DC.
That wording matters. The listing does not claim the sun alone keeps the robot running, and it gives no runtime, panel size or charging time. It also does not say how long a solar top-up lasts. Treat the solar feature as a way to cut how often you plug in, not as a promise of zero plugging.
If you want a robot that never needs a cable, the cordless inground models above, such as the C1, are easier to judge, because they state their runtime. For other brands that charge without cables, see the Aiper reviews, which cover a wireless dock and the EcoSurfer solar skimmer, and the Beatbot reviews.
Which WYBOT Should You Buy?
Match the model to the pool. Flat above-ground floor: the A1. Small pool where carrying matters: the quad-roller B1. Above-ground pool with waterline scum: the six-roller B1. Inground with slopes and a long runtime: the C1. Inground with the finest filter: the C2. Large pool that learns its own debris pattern: the C2 Vision.
Before you buy, open the listing for your colour and read the pool type it names. For other brands start with our guide to the best inground pool cleaners.
