Dreame Robot Vacuums: Which Model to Buy in 2026
Seven current Dreame models, from the camera-guided X60 to the bag-dock D20 line, sorted by what each one is for and what it asks of your home.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no cost to you. How we make money.
Dreame sells a lot of robot vacuums, and the names do not help. X60, L60, L40, L10s, D20, Ultra, Pro, Plus, Air, PE: ten labels for what are really three questions. Does the dock wash the mop? How big a step can the robot climb? And how many weeks can you leave the dust bag alone?
This guide answers those questions for the seven Dreame models on sale at Amazon US today. It starts with how the range is organized, compares the seven side by side, then explains each one: who it suits and who should look elsewhere. If you are weighing Dreame against other makers, our guide to the best robot vacuums covers the whole market.

How We Choose
We do not run a test lab, and we will not pretend to. Every Dreame model here was chosen by reading the maker's own specifications from its Amazon US listing, line by line, and comparing all seven on the same points. We say what Dreame states and attribute it; where a listing is silent, we write that it is not stated rather than guess.

The Dreame Range Explained
Dreame groups its robots into series, and the series tells you more than the model number does. The listings let us sketch the logic, so treat this as a reading aid and not an official map.
D Series: Bag Docks and Low Maintenance
The D20 Air Plus and D20 Plus are the simple end of this guide. Their listings stress long dust-bag life (120 days and 150 days) and anti-tangle brushes, and say nothing about the dock washing the mop. Both mop with an adjustable water flow, but treat the mop as a light finishing pass. If you mostly want dust and pet hair gone with the least attention, this is the series.
L Series: The All-in-One Docks
The L40 Ultra Gen 2, L10s Ultra Gen 2, L60 Ultra PE and L60 Pro Ultra are the mainstream models. Their docks empty the dust, wash the mop pads and dry them, and the robots extend a side brush and a mop toward edges. The L60 models add climbing: Dreame lists 4 cm of obstacle crossing on the Ultra PE and a retractable-leg system on the Pro Ultra.
X Series: Cameras and the Slimmest Body
The X60 Max Ultra Complete is the flagship here. It is the only model in this group with dual AI cameras, and Dreame calls it its thinnest robot at 3.13 inches. Its dock is the most fully featured, with 212°F mop washing and 100 days of dust disposal. It is also the model that costs the most to get wrong, so check the fit in your home before you buy.
Ultra vs Plus: What the Names Mean
In these listings, an Ultra name goes with a dock that empties, washes and dries, while Plus and Air Plus go with a dock that empties dust into a bag and nothing more is stated. Pro, PE and Max are variants inside a series: Pro points to more climbing (the L60 Pro Ultra), PE to a heated washboard on the dock (the L60 Ultra PE), and Max to the flagship tier. Check the dock description on the model you like, not the name alone.
Dreame Robot Vacuums Compared
The table sets the seven side by side. Suction figures are Dreame's own ratings in pascals (Pa). They compare models inside the brand well and models from other brands poorly, because each maker measures its own way. Where a cell says not stated, the listing is silent on that point.

The Dreame Robot Vacuums, Reviewed
Each review opens with the short verdict, then who should buy it and who should not. The detail underneath is there for when two models look close.
Top pick · Best for low furniture
Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete
The Dreame to buy if low furniture and mixed floors are the problem. It is the thinnest Dreame here and the dock does nearly everything.
- Premium
- Suction 35,000 Pa
- Navigation Dual AI cameras
- Mop Dual pads, extends
- Dock Empties, washes, dries
- Buy it if
- You have sofas and beds with little clearance, a mix of carpet and hard floors, and you want the dock to run for months.
- Skip it if
- You would rather not have cameras in your home, or a smaller model with fewer parts would do the job.
Dreame calls the X60 Max Ultra Complete its thinnest robot vacuum, at 3.13 inches (7.95 cm), and says it glides under sofas and beds where taller machines get stuck. That slim body is the main reason to pick it over the other six.
Navigation uses dual AI cameras with proactive illumination, which Dreame says detect obstacles and adapt the cleaning mode. The suction rating is 35,000 Pa through an upgraded DuoBrush with a retractable pressure plate. For mopping, two pads press down with 15 N of force and spin at 230 RPM, and Dreame says they work with 104°F (40°C) hot water.
The dock is the 10-in-1 unit: 212°F (100°C) hot-water mop washing, hot-air drying, 100-day dust disposal and a dual-solution compartment. The listing states a three-year warranty. Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only.
What stands out
- 3.13 in tall, the slimmest Dreame here
- 212°F mop washing, hot-air drying and 100-day dust disposal in the dock
- Detects steps up to 3.47 in, according to Dreame
- Listing states a three-year warranty
Trade-offs
- Dual cameras may not suit privacy-minded homes
- Runtime is not stated
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Best for a hygienic mop
Dreame L60 Ultra PE
The L60 for people who care what the mop pads smell like. The dock washes them at high heat and the robot handles small steps.
- Premium
- Suction 30,000 Pa
- Navigation 220+ objects recognized
- Mop Swinging mop
- Dock Empties, washes, dries
- Buy it if
- You mop kitchen and hallway floors often, and a damp, sour mop pad is what put you off robots before.
- Skip it if
- You need to climb tall thresholds, in which case the L60 Pro Ultra is the one to check first.
The L60 Ultra PE is built around its dock. Dreame describes a ThermoHub system with a PTC-heated washboard that cleans the mop pads at 212°F (100°C), and says the heat breaks down greasy residue and reduces odor. The station also empties dust, dries the pads with hot air, refills water and mixes cleaning solution. The listing does not say how many days of dust the bag holds.
The robot is rated at 30,000 Pa. Its HyperStream DuoBrush pairs a bristled rubber brush with a soft TPU one, and Dreame says airflow guides hair toward the suction to reduce tangling. A Dual Flex Arm extends the side brush and swings the mop toward baseboards and furniture legs.
EasyLeap crossing uses auxiliary climbing wheels, rated by Dreame at 40 mm (1.57 in). Dreame also lists recognition of more than 220 object types. Height is not stated.
What stands out
- 212°F heated washboard for the mop pads
- HyperStream DuoBrush built for hair
- Extending side brush and swinging mop reach edges
- Rated to cross obstacles up to 1.57 in
Trade-offs
- Dust-bag days and robot height are not stated
- Crosses 1.57 in, less than the L60 Pro Ultra's 3.47 in
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Best for raised thresholds
Dreame L60 Pro Ultra
The one to check if a raised door track is what limits your robot today. It lowers its LiDAR to fit under furniture and lifts itself over steps.
- Premium
- Suction 35,000 Pa
- Navigation Liftable LiDAR, 280+ objects
- Mop Extendable mop
- Dock Empties, washes, dries
- Buy it if
- Your floors change level between rooms, and you want one robot to do the whole floor without a ramp.
- Skip it if
- Your floors are flat, since you would pay for climbing you will not use.
The L60 Pro Ultra is the climbing model. Dreame says retractable legs cross double-layer thresholds up to 3.47 in (8.8 cm) and single steps up to 1.77 in (4.5 cm). The section below explains why those two numbers differ, and why it matters.
Instead of a fixed turret, the VersaLift LiDAR lowers the robot to 3.50 in (8.9 cm) so it can go under sofas, beds and cabinets, then lifts for navigation. Suction is rated at 35,000 Pa. The mop and side brush extend up to 1.58 in (40 mm), and Dreame lists recognition of more than 280 object types.
The dock empties dust, washes the mop pads with hot water, dries them with hot air and refills water. On carpet, the robot removes its mop pads, or lifts them 0.41 in (10.5 mm) and boosts suction. Hair handling and dust-bag days are not stated.
What stands out
- Crosses double-layer thresholds up to 3.47 in, according to Dreame
- Liftable LiDAR lowers the body to 3.50 in
- Mop pads can be removed or lifted on carpet
- 35,000 Pa suction rating
Trade-offs
- Brush design and dust-bag days are not stated
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Best for large homes
Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2
The sensible middle of the Dreame range. It runs long enough for a big floor plan and the dock looks after the mop.
- Mid-range
- Suction 25,000 Pa
- Navigation Smart Pathfinder, 3DAdapt
- Mop Extendable mop
- Dock All-in-one, self-cleaning
- Buy it if
- You have a large or open-plan home and want a full dock without paying flagship money.
- Skip it if
- You want detergent dosed automatically without buying an add-on.
Battery life is where the L40 Ultra Gen 2 earns its place. Dreame states up to 231 minutes and 1,679 sq ft of cleaning in Quiet mode from a 5,200 mAh battery, and says charging is 30% faster and can run off-peak. Suction is rated at 25,000 Pa across five levels.
Both the brush and the mop extend to reach corners and under furniture. For carpet, Dreame gives four modes: avoid it, boost suction, clean it intensively, or lift the mop 0.41 in. Navigation combines Smart Pathfinder with 3DAdapt avoidance for objects such as shoes.
The all-in-one dock is described as self-cleaning. Automatic detergent dosing needs an optional module sold separately, and the listing does not state the days of dust or the hair-brush design. Control works with Alexa, Siri and Google Home on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
What stands out
- Up to 231 minutes of Quiet-mode cleaning, per Dreame
- Four carpet modes, including mop lifting
- 25,000 Pa across five levels
- Full dock at the mid-range tier
Trade-offs
- Detergent dispenser is an optional extra
- Dust-bag days and brush design are not stated
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Best for a full dock on a tighter budget
Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2
The L-series routine without the climbing and cameras. It empties, washes and dries on its own, with modest suction.
- Mid-range
- Suction 10,000 Pa
- Navigation Smart Pathfinder, 3DAdapt
- Mop Dual rotary, extends
- Dock Empties, washes, dries
- Buy it if
- Your floors are mostly hard, and you want the full dock routine at the lower end of Dreame's range.
- Skip it if
- You have thick carpet. At 10,000 Pa it is the lowest-rated of the seven.
The L10s Ultra Gen 2 gives up raw numbers to keep the full routine. Suction is rated at 10,000 Pa with a floating rubber brush for hair. Two rotary mops scrub under pressure, and the mop extends toward edges, which Dreame says delivers 165% edge cleaning.
The dock is the point. It auto-empties for up to 75 days using a 300 mL dust box and a 3.2 L dust bag, blow-dries the mops with warm air, adds cleaning solution automatically and refills from a 4.5 L tank. Dreame lists up to 240 minutes of Standard-mode runtime from a 5,200 mAh battery.
Carpet gets five modes, including mop raising and carpet avoidance, and a pet mode cleans pet areas twice. The listing does not give a mop-wash temperature or a robot height. It needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
What stands out
- Empties, washes and dries without help
- Up to 75 days of dust, per Dreame
- Five carpet modes and a pet mode
- Automatic detergent and a 4.5 L water tank
Trade-offs
- 10,000 Pa is the lowest suction rating of the seven
- Mop-wash temperature and height are not stated
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Best for months between dust bags
Dreame D20 Air Plus
The Dreame to buy when you want the bag changed about three times a year and 20,000 Pa of rated suction.
- Mid-range
- Suction 20,000 Pa
- Navigation LiDAR
- Mop Adjustable water flow
- Dock Empties only stated
- Buy it if
- You live with shedding pets, mostly dry vacuuming, and you would rather forget the dock exists.
- Skip it if
- You want the dock to wash the mop. The listing states only emptying.
Dreame states that the D20 Air Plus dock holds up to 120 days of dust in a 4 L sealed bag, and says the bag locks in 99.9% of allergens. Suction is rated at 20,000 Pa, and the main brush and side brush both carry anti-tangle designs aimed at pets and long hair.
Navigation is LiDAR, which Dreame says keeps working in total darkness. The app sets no-go zones and room schedules. The robot vacuums and mops at the same time through an electronic water tank with adjustable flow, and edges and corners are covered by a design Dreame says hugs baseboards.
What the listing does not say is as important: mop type, mop washing, dock drying and robot height are all not stated. Treat the mop as a damp wipe and the dock as a bag emptier. It needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
What stands out
- Up to 120 days of dust in a 4 L sealed bag, per Dreame
- 20,000 Pa with anti-tangle main and side brushes
- LiDAR mapping with no-go zones
- Mid-range tier
Trade-offs
- Mop washing and drying are not stated
- Robot height not stated
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Best for pet hair on a modest budget
Dreame D20 Plus
The simplest Dreame on this page. It targets pet hair, with the longest bag life of the seven and easy app control.
- Mid-range
- Suction 13,000 Pa
- Navigation LDS mapping
- Mop 32 water levels
- Dock Empties only stated
- Buy it if
- You have pets, a mixed home and no interest in a mop-washing dock.
- Skip it if
- You have deep carpet and want strong suction, since 13,000 Pa is the second lowest here.
The D20 Plus lists a DuoBrush that Dreame says grabs long hair and pet fur without wrapping, with 13,000 Pa of Vormax suction. The dock empties into a 5 L bag, which Dreame rates for up to 150 days, the longest of any model here.
It vacuums and mops together, with 32 water levels and a 500 mL dustbin plus a 350 mL water tank on the robot. LDS mapping builds editable maps with no-go zones and multi-floor support. Voice control works through Alexa, Siri and Google Home.
As with the D20 Air Plus, the listing does not describe mop washing or drying, so treat the mop as a light finishing pass. Robot height is not stated, and Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only.
What stands out
- Up to 150 days of dust in a 5 L bag, per Dreame
- DuoBrush aimed at long hair and pet fur
- 32 water levels and editable multi-floor maps
- Alexa, Siri and Google Home control
Trade-offs
- Mop washing and drying are not stated
- 13,000 Pa is modest for deep carpet
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
Obstacle Crossing: The 3.47-Inch Claim
Two Dreame listings lead with 3.47 inches (8.8 cm): the X60 Max Ultra Complete and the L60 Pro Ultra. It is the biggest number in the range, and it is easy to misread.
What the Number Means
On the L60 Pro Ultra, Dreame attaches 3.47 in to double-layer thresholds, and gives a lower figure for a single step: 1.77 in (4.5 cm). A double-layer threshold is two small rises in a row, such as a door track next to a rug edge. A single step is one rise. The X60 listing says the robot detects steps up to 3.47 in and picks a strategy, so it is the maker's maximum, not a promise for every shape of obstacle.
The L60 Ultra PE lists 40 mm (1.57 in) of crossing. That is the figure to compare for ordinary door tracks.
What It Means for Steps Between Rooms
Measure the highest rise between two rooms you want cleaned, and check whether it is one step or two. If the tallest is a flat threshold strip, any of the L-series models will probably cope. If your home has a stacked rise at a patio door or a sunken living room, the Pro Ultra's retractable legs are what the listing is describing. Dreame does not state the crossing height for the other four models, so if steps decide your purchase, treat those four as not rated.
One more practical point: a climbing robot leaves the dock behind. Keep the dock on the floor level you clean most.
How to Choose Between Dreame Models
Three answers settle most of the choice. Take them in order.
Do You Want the Dock to Wash the Mop?
If yes, drop the two D20 models, because their listings state only emptying. If you mop a kitchen every day, step up to the L60 Ultra PE for the heated washboard. If you mostly vacuum, the D20 Air Plus and D20 Plus are the least work. Our guide to robot vacuum and mop combos compares mop types across brands.
Do You Have Carpet?
Suction ratings help here, but mop behavior on carpet helps more. The L60 Pro Ultra can remove its pads, the L40 Ultra Gen 2 has four carpet modes, and the L10s Ultra Gen 2 has five. See our guide to the best robot vacuums for carpets for how other brands handle it.
How Long Should the Dock Run Unattended?
The gap between a 75-day bag and a 150-day bag is a few dust-bag changes a year, nothing more. A self-emptying dock mostly matters for how often you touch the robot, so weigh bag days against the mop routine rather than treating them as a score.
